Koh Surin - Stunning Beach Getaway

Koh Surin

What a place to relax and have some fun. Koh Surin is a tiny island in a national park that protects the natural beauty and culture of Thailand. You can chill on the sandy beaches and swim in the crystal-clear water. Koh Surin is not very crowded or touristy, so you can enjoy a peaceful experience. It's a great spot to discover something new and amazing.

Koh Surin is easy to reach, with different tours to choose from. You can take a speedboat for an hour from Kur Aburi Pier or an hour and a half from Khao Lak. From Phuket, it's about two hours. The tours include these rides, so you don't have to worry about getting to the island.

When you get there, you'll see how amazing the island looks. Camping or a bungalow is the only way to stay here, the campsite has a stunning view that will make you speechless. How awesome would it be to wake up to this every day?

There's a Thai restaurant nearby. They serve Western food, but the Western food they serve is not the best. However, if you're a fan of so-called American breakfasts, such as plastic-looking sausages, two eggs, ham and salad, you'll be happy to know they serve it here, even though it's not American. I'd call it Asian breakfast, to be honest, as it's only sold in Asia. Although, if you want some flavour, you might want to try Thai food instead. No alcohol is sold anywhere on the national Park! Including this restaurant.

If you're looking for some adventure, you can join the daily boat tours that depart from Koh Surin. They will take you to explore the nearby islands, where you can snorkel and dive in the crystal-clear water. You can see amazing coral reefs, colourful fish, and maybe even some turtles or dolphins. The boat tours are optional, so you can choose to join them or just relax at the campsite. Either way, you'll have a great time at this beautiful destination.

You should definitely check out the Moken Village. It's a place where you can interact with the local sea tribe and sea gipsies who have a special connection to this island. You can hop on a boat and visit them, and they will greet you with open arms. They even speak their own language! (Not Thai) It's a rare opportunity to learn about their culture and lifestyle.

Another thing you can do is explore the island on foot and discover some amazing views of the ocean. Several hiking trails will take you to different spots where you can enjoy the scenery and take some photos. It's a great way to experience the natural beauty of this place.

This island in Thailand is a hidden gem that offers stunning scenery, pristine beaches, and rich marine life. You will love Koh Surin for its beauty, tranquillity, and culture. It is the perfect place to relax and explore.
